Should I put clear and red LED tail lights on my 1998 Mercedes ML320 or smoked ones?

I am not sure which one I know the new ML320 have LED lights so Im trying to upgrade. Smoked tails are played out! Plus I think the smoked ones only look good on Dark colored cars (Black, Blue Charcoal), but I still prefer RED over Smoked. I can't believe Nissan continues using the Alteeza looking tails on the Altima and Sentra.

Since you car is black..the smoked ones suits very well.but the red ones will give you a fresh look.
