one with the black tail ,, wait for 15-18 days if the black tail guppy gets bigger then the other then she is probably she mean that one is the female and one thing male r always prettier than femalesI have 2 guppies one has an orange corful tail and yellow body and the others tail blac and kinda clear body?
Colorful prettier ones are always the males. The males get very beautiful and stay smaller. Depending on your tank size I like to do 3 females for every one male. If you only have one female he will harasss her to death and she will normally get stressed and sick.

the one that has the black tail is a girl. the colorful one is a boy.
Sounds like the 2nd fish is the female, while the 1st is the male
