Stop reading, get cat in car and start driving. Your cat has an infected wound get to the vet before its to lateMy cats tail is a little swollen and discolored in a small spot it is leaking some clear fluid what to do?
It sounds like an abscess. You need to have to professionally treated. This sort of thing tends to run about $200.

Basically what they do is shave the area, cut into the wound, drain all of the pus, and then give the cat lots of antibiotics.

until you can get an appointment at the vet (no later than tomorrow) You can flush out the area with warm soapy water and then put on an antibiotic cream like neosporin.

If you simply canNOT afford it and know someone who is a doctor/nurse, you may want to attempt the procedure yourself. If so, follow the link below.

Good luck.My cats tail is a little swollen and discolored in a small spot it is leaking some clear fluid what to do?
It sounds like an abscess ( infection). This is a common occurrance for cats but cannot be fixed without veterianrian help. If you can't go now, at least keep it draining. If it goes for too long your cat can get VERY sic because cats are sensitive to infections.
You should be taking that cat to the vet, not asking questions on Y!Answers.

Discolored, swollen, and 'leaking'. If that was part of YOUR body, would you just leave it alone? Probably not.

Be a responsible pet owner, and get the cat seen by a vet to get proper treatment.
VET NOW!! If you wait the cat could get an infection that could spread and it could loose it's tail...
TAKE IT TO THE VET! DUH!
